Intimate get together for just 'the girls'; discussing the word and matters of the heart, encouraging and praying for one another.

Sometimes 'location' does matter! As the 120 met in the upper room in the Book of Acts, something happened...the Holy Spirit came and endued them with power from on high!
Sure God could have met everyone in their own homes, however, there was power released as people came out of their own environments to met corporately to 'seek His face, and His Presence.'

"COMMON CENTS"- Lighthouse Kids Ministry
Lighthouse church kids (ages 4-13), have an exciting 'Common Cents' ministry, where 
they raise funds for current missions projects! The kids collected almost $1300, for our Malawi Missions, simply by asking family, friends and people in the congregation to
donate all their 'penny jars' that were lying around the house collecting dust, to use for the kingdom of God instead.
Charles and Lamar Taylor have an incredible work in Blantyre, Malawi that is truly affecting the nation for good, and with the help of our kids, made Christmas very special for our African friends.
The children are learning through the words of Jesus, "when I was hungry, you fed Me; when I was naked you clothed Me............"
Common Cents, is collected throughout the year, in an array of jars, bags, cannisters etc, then tallied up by the kids, as they roll up all the coins themselves, being a part of the blessing process, from start to finish!
LIFE GROUPS / BIBLE STUDY
Will run from September - June in Waterdown, Burlington and Brantford. (During the Summer we enjoy having potluck dinners in various homes within the church)
Great way of connecting with new friends, have great fellowship and learn more about the things that matter to you in life from a biblical perspective. Topics such as marriage, how to raise awesome kids, being single and everything in between. Down-to-earth approach, and totally relatable for today!!
